Spring Concert Series

Rick Esterling's baritone voice and rhythmic stride piano style combine to create emotive, toe-tapping renditions of some of the very best music from the 20th century.  Raised mostly in Alabama, Rick has musical roots in southern rock, honky tonk, country, R & B, pop, Mississippi blues, and classic rock.  Later, he developed an affinity for jazz, big band, and swing, the latter interests coming largely from his mom and grandmas, all of whom deeply loved music and dancing and generously shared their enthusiasm and knowledge of music with all their kids and grandkids.  Rick enjoys the music of John Phillips Sousa as much as John Williams as much as John Prine, John Denver, and Jon Bon Jovi.
