Description
A FREE Family-Friendly Event Celebrating Freedom, African American Liberation and Unity

Today, Juneteenth stands as a celebration of African American freedom as well as a triumph of the human spirit over oppression. It's a day to reflect on the trials endured, celebrate the remarkable progress made, and renew and continue our collective commitment to creating a more just society for all. The Juneteenth Festival offers a unique platform to honor this powerful lineage while fostering unity, understanding, and hope for a harmonious tomorrow. Festivities include the inaugural ‘BMB Concert’ with Grammy Award-Winning R&B Group, Club Nouveau, Kid's Zone, Petting Zoo, Shopping, Mouthwatering Cuisine, Dancing, Horseback Riding and more.

The Juneteenth Festival at Black Miners Bar is a not-for-profit community effort produced by California State Parks, FOLFAN (501c3), Stafford Consulting Group, LLC and a growing number of organizations and community members including the City of Folsom, SEIU 2015, County Supervisor, Sue Frost, SEIU United Health Care Workers, Oak Park Brewery, Visit Folsom, The California Black Chamber of Commerce, KDEE 97.5, Intel and Folsom Lake College.
